RINKE, Christopher Robert "Chris," wrestler (b 26 Oct 1960, New Westminster). Raised in PORT COQUITLAM, he was a product of SFU's WRESTLING program. He won his first national championship as a junior in 1979 and went on to collect 7 senior titles. His first international medal was a gold in his 82-kg weight class at the 1982 Commonwealth Games and the next year he took a bronze at the Pan American Games.
