RIVERSIDE was an early FRASER VALLEY sternwheeler landing on the south shore of the FRASER R, 45 km east of NEW WESTMINSTER. It had a post office from 1881 to 1894. The settlement withered away as a result of the growing importance of MISSION on the opposite side of the river.
