ROBERTS, Morley, writer (b 29 Dec 1857, London, England; d 8 June 1942, London). As a young man he travelled the world, working at a variety of labouring jobs in Australia and the US. He arrived in BC in 1884 and spent the winter of 1884–85 working in a sawmill in NEW WESTMINSTER.
