ROBINSON, Robert Gordon "Red," broadcaster (b 30 Mar 1937, Comox; d 1 Apr 2023, Vancouver). When he was a VANCOUVER high school student in 1953 he began contributing to Al Jordan's afternoon radio show for teenagers on CJOR, Theme for Teens, the first scheduled radio program featuring rock 'n' roll in Canada.
