Rodeo

RODEO is a sporting event that features the skills associated with COWBOY life and cattle roundup in a competitive setting. In BC it originated in the CATTLE-raising districts of the CHILCOTIN–CARIBOO and the NICOLA Valley and evolved over the years from informal gatherings of working cowboys held on ranches or in ranching communities into a regular circuit with professional competition.
