Rogers, Robert Gordon


ROGERS, Robert Gordon, forestry executive, lt gov 1983–88 (b 19 Aug 1919, Montreal; d 21 May 2010, Victoria). A graduate of the Royal Military College in Kingston and the Univ of Toronto, he served as a member of a tank regiment in the Canadian Armoured Corps during WWII. Following the war he was a business executive, principally with CROWN ZELLERBACH CANADA where he was chairman and CEO (1975–82).
