ROGERS SUGAR is the successor company to BC Sugar, one of the province's oldest manufacturers. Founded in VANCOUVER in 1890 by Benjamin Tingley ROGERS, an American-born entrepreneur, BC Sugar was the city's first major industry not based on LOGGING or commercial FISHING.
