Rose Lake

ROSE LAKE was a LOGGING and AGRICULTURAL settlement on the GRAND TRUNK PACIFIC RWY and the Endako R, 25 km northwest of BURNS LAKE. An important source of income in the early days for many communities in this region was the production of railway ties. Rose is a corruption of the surname of the first homesteader, Charlie Ross, who arrived about 1910.
