ROSEDALE, 10 km east of CHILLIWACK within Chilliwack municipal boundaries, is an early FRASER VALLEY AGRICULTURAL settlement that developed on the old Yale Road. It had a school, post office and store by the 1890s. The name comes from the wild roses that grew in abundance here.
