Ross, Paula

ROSS, Paula, dancer, choreographer (b 29 April 1941, Vancouver). She was born Pauline Campbell and later took Paula Ross as a stage name. She studied ballet from a young age and left home at age 15 to join a chorus line at a Montreal casino. She worked the show circuit across Canada and the US for 4 years, then returned to VANCOUVER, where she launched her own modern DANCE company, the Paula Ross Dance Co, in 1965.
