Roxburgh, Douglas "Doug"

ROXBURGH, Douglas "Doug," amateur golfer (b 28 Dec 1951, Dominican Republic). He was the most successful BC amateur GOLF player of the 20th century. Roxburgh was a 17-year-old VANCOUVER high school student in 1969 when he won the first of his 13 BC amateur championships over 4 different decades, a feat accomplished by no other golfer.
