Royal Visits


ROYAL VISITS to British Columbia by members of the British royal family have occurred intermittently since Sept 1901. That year the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York (later King George V and Queen Mary) arrived in VANCOUVER as part of their tour of the colonies to show gratitude for the support given Britain during the war in South Africa.
