Science World BC

SCIENCE WORLD BC is a science and technology centre overlooking FALSE CRK in downtown VANCOUVER. It offers educational exhibits to the general public. Originally a partnership of the Junior League of Greater Vancouver and the City of Vancouver, it began operations as the Arts, Sciences & Technology Centre in Jan 1982 in a downtown storefront on Granville St. In 1988 it moved to its permanent location in the former Expo Centre (see EXPO 86) geodesic dome.
