Shearwater

SHEARWATER is a medium-sized seabird related to, though smaller than, the ALBATROSS. It is coloured dark above and sometimes white below. Its flight pattern is distinctive, featuring a series of deep wingbeats followed by a long glide on stiffly held wings.
