Shields, Ken and Kathy (Williams)

SHIELDS, Ken (b 7 Dec 1945, Beaverlodge, AB) and Kathy (Williams) Shields (b 18 Jan 1951, W Vancouver), basketball coaches. Dubbed "Mr and Mrs Basketball," they have won more university BASKETBALL championships than any other coaching couple in the history of the game. In high school Ken starred for the PRINCE RUPERT Rainmakers, leading them to the top of the BC high schools tournament in 1964.
