SKINNER, Constance Lindsay, writer (b 7 Dec 1877, Quesnel; d 27 Mar 1939, New York City). Her father Robert Skinner ran the HBC store at QUESNEL, where she spent her childhood. At age 10 she moved with her family to VICTORIA, then to VANCOUVER. She began writing at an early age and published stories and NEWSPAPER articles before she was out of her teens.
