Slocan Forest Products Ltd

SLOCAN FOREST PRODUCTS LIMITED was formed by Ike Barber in 1978 to purchase the timber, LOGGING and SAWMILLING assets of Triangle Pacific Forest Products at SLOCAN. Subsequently, the company acquired sawmills, timber and PULP AND PAPER facilities throughout the Interior. In June 1997 it completed purchase of the sawmilling operations of TimberWest Forest Co. In 2004, it was purchased by CANADIAN FOREST PRODUCTS. See also FOREST INDUSTRY.
