Somerset, Dorothy

SOMERSET, Dorothy, theatre pioneer (b 9 June 1900, Perth, Australia; d 11 Aug 1991, Vancouver). A graduate of Radcliffe College, she performed with the Harvard Dramatic Society and studied THEATRE in England. She was a leading lady in VANCOUVER's Little Theatre in the 1920s and directed annual productions for the University Players Club.
