Southern Railway of BC

SOUTHERN RAILWAY OF BC, based in NEW WESTMINSTER and owned since 1994 by the WASHINGTON MARINE GROUP, operates in the lower FRASER VALLEY between New Westminster and CHILLIWACK. It links industrial facilities and ports, hauling freight for local shippers and other railways. A major part of its business involves shipping automobiles to and from ANNACIS ISLAND. The railway maintains a fleet of 23 locomotives and owns 200 km of track.
