SPARROW, Edward Sr, X'muzk'i'um leader (b 24 Dec 1898, Musqueam; d 2 Aug 1998, Musqueam). As a youngster he began working at a SALMON cannery in STEVESTON (see SALMON CANNING). After attending RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL at CHILLIWACK he went to work in a SAWMILL and over the years made his living at a variety of occupations up and down the coast.
