SPIRIT OF THE WEST is a Celtic-influenced pop music group formed in VANCOUVER in 1983 by Geoffrey Kelly, John Mann and J. Knutson. The group originally performed traditional folk music as the Evesdroppers. After its second album, Hugh McMillan replaced Knutson. Other members have included Vince Ditrich and Linda McRae, who subsequently left to pursue a solo career.
