Sport BC

SPORT BC, formed in 1966, is a nonprofit umbrella organization representing close to 80 BC amateur sports groups. It provides leadership and coordination in overall sport issues such as government funding, promotes sport in the province, administers BC athlete-of-the-year awards and the Kidsport Fund and, at its base in VANCOUVER, administers 45 offices for individual sports.
