Streatham

STREATHAM, a farming (see AGRICULTURE) and ranching (see CATTLE INDUSTRY) district on the north shore of OOTSA LK, 56 km southwest of BURNS LAKE, was named by the Hinton family, local pioneers who arrived about 1914 and named the place for their home in London, England. Much of this area was submerged when the NECHAKO Reservoir was created in the early 1950s.
