Strong, George Frederick


STRONG, George Frederick, physician (b 27 Feb 1897, St Paul, MN; d 26 Feb 1957, Montreal). He was educated in St Paul and in 1921 he moved to VANCOUVER, where he became a prominent internist and cardiologist. He was closely associated with Vancouver Hospital (then called Vancouver General Hospital) and helped found the G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre (1949).
