STURSBERG, Peter, journalist (b 31 Aug 1913, Chefoo, China). He began his NEWSPAPER career as a reporter with the Victoria Times from 1934 to 1938. As a war correspondent for CBC radio, he covered the landing of Canadian troops in Sicily in 1943, followed the Italian campaign, then reported on the liberation of Holland. He was the only Canadian correspondent to enter both Axis capitals, Rome and Berlin, with the Allies. After the war, from 1950 to 1979, he worked in television for both the CBC...
