SUNRISE VALLEY, 30 km northwest of DAWSON CREEK in the PEACE R district, is an AGRICULTURAL settlement that first took form in the late 1920s. It acquired a school and post office in the early 1930s and a community hall the following decade. Today it is an area of family-owned farms.
