THOM, Ronald James, architect (b 15 May 1923, Penticton; d 29 Oct 1986, Toronto). Raised in VANCOUVER, he attended the Vancouver School of Art in 1941–42 and 1945–47 (see EMILY CARR INSTITUTE OF ART & DESIGN) and served in the air force during WWII.
