THOMAS, Audree Ruth, ballet dancer (b 1925, Vancouver BC; d 10 Jan 2014, Gettysburg PA) She was the ballerina for whom Ballet Bay, on NELSON ISLAND, is named. She was the daughter of Harry and Margery (Midge) Thomas who settled on 10 hectares on a small bay on the south side of Blind Bay.
