THOMAS, Audrey Callahan, writer (b 17 Nov 1935, Binghamton, NY). She came to BC in 1959 and did graduate studies at UBC. After 2 years in Ghana with her husband, a teacher, she launched her WRITING career with the story collection Ten Green Bottles (1967), followed by her first novel, Mrs. Blood (1970).
