THOMPSON, Peggy, screenwriter, film producer and script editor (b Vancouver). She writes for film, television, radio, stage and print, and is best known for writing 2 films set in BC. The Lotus Eaters (1993) drew excellent reviews and won a 1993 Genie Award for best screenplay. Better Than Chocolate (1999) premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and was a critical and commercial success in Canada, the USA, and Europe.
