Thompson Sound

THOMPSON SOUND branches off Tribune Channel west of KNIGHT INLET, 100 km northwest of CAMPBELL RIVER. A large LOGGING camp was located where the Kakweiken R enters the head of the sound. A post office operated here from 1973 to 1978.
