TRIANO, Howard "Jay," basketball player and coach (b 21 Sept 1958, Tilsonburg, ON). His father Howie was a member of the 1964 Canadian Olympic BASKETBALL team. When Jay finished high school in 1977 in his hometown Niagara Falls, ON, he turned down offers from several American universities to play basketball at SFU instead.
