ULRICH, Sharon "Shari," singer/songwriter (b 17 Oct 1951, San Rafael, CA). A Juno Award-winner who is recognized for her catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics, she achieved her professional success after she immigrated to BC in 1972. Two years later, Ulrich joined Rick Scott and Joe Mock in The Pied Pumkin String Ensemble and sang Mock's "Flying," the song for which she became best known.
