United Church




UNITED CHURCH of Canada was formed in 1925 when the METHODIST CHURCH of Canada, the Congregational Union of Canada and two-thirds of the PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH in Canada, together with the Union Churches of Western Canada, joined to form the largest Protestant Christian church in the country. In the 2001 census, 361,840 people living in BC identified the United Church as their religious preference.
