UPPER FRASER, a LOGGING community 55 km northeast of PRINCE GEORGE on VIA Rail and the FRASER R, is the site of a SAWMILL established in the 1930s by Don McPhee, Roy Spurr and Edwin Safford and subsequently owned by CANADIAN FOREST PRODUCTS LTD.
