VANCOUVER OPERA HOUSE was the city's most elegant showcase for the performing arts from 1891 to 1913. It was built by the CPR on Granville St at Robson next door to the first Vancouver Hotel and featured international stars from the worlds of vaudeville, opera, drama and musical theatre.
