Waterfalls

WATERFALLS are a spectacular feature of BC's mountainous terrain. The 3 tallest falls in the country are in BC, and 3 others are also among the 10 tallest in Canada. The designated height of waterfalls depends on whether only the height of the free fall is measured, or the rapids before and after the drop are included. See chart showing BC's highest waterfalls, each of them taller than Niagara Falls. The list is compiled from a variety of sources and measures vertical drop.
