WATMOUGH, David Arthur, writer (b 17 Aug 1926, Leyton, England; d 4 Aug 2017, Vancouver). After active service in the Royal Navy in 1944–45, he studied theology at the Univ of London. After graduating in 1949 he moved to France, where he wrote his first book, a study of the Catholic worker-priest movement.
