WHEELER, Anne, filmmaker (b 23 Sept 1946, Edmonton). After completing a science degree, she began her career in film in 1971, forming Filmwest Associates, an Edmonton filmmaking collective. Five years later she chose to freelance, working mainly for the National Film Board making documentaries. In 1981 she began concentrating on dramatic films and feature docu-dramas.
