WRECK BEACH has been VANCOUVER's clothing-optional swimming beach since early in the 1970s. It lies at the foot of the coastal bluffs on the edge of the UBC campus at the western tip of Point Grey, and affords visitors an expansive view of GEORGIA STRAIT. Its name refers to a shipwreck and several wrecked barges located nearby.
