Adeane Point

Adeane Point (50˚44'00" 125˚41'00" E side of Knight Inlet, N of Glendale Cove). After a pony belonging to Elizabeth “Lillie” Blakeney, daughter of Capt James Murray Reid of Victoria, a veteran employee of the HBC (see Reid Passage and Reid I). Nearby Kitty Cone is named for the pony belonging to her husband, William Blakeney, an RN officer who also spelled his name Blackney. See Blackney Channel. W
