Ahlstrom Point

Ahlstrom Point (49˚47'00" 124˚08'00" N side of lower Jervis Inlet, S of Lois Lk, NW of Vancouver). Private Knute Emanuel Ahlstrom, of Vancouver, with the 1st Battalion, Canadian Scottish Regiment, Royal Canadian Infantry Corps, was killed in action in Normandy on June 9, 1944, aged 22. He is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian War Cemetery, Calvados, France.
