Alexander Inlet

Alexander Inlet (52˚38'00" 128˚37'00" SE end of Princess Royal I, NW of Bella Bella). Harold Rupert Leofric George Alexander (1891–1969), 1st Earl Alexander of Tunis, became Canada’s 17th gov gen in 1946. He was a WWII military leader, serving in Burma, the Middle East and Italy and becoming, in 1944, Supreme Allied Cdr Mediterranean, with the rank of field marshal.
