Ambrosia Bay


Ambrosia Bay (50˚12'00" 127˚49'00" N side of Brooks Peninsula, S of Quatsino Sd, NW side of Vancouver I). Named after the plant Ambrosia chamissonis, or silver bursage, which grows in abundance on the beach here. The name was suggested by members of the provincial museum’s 1981 Brooks Peninsula expedition.
