Amphitrite Point

Amphitrite Point (48˚55'17" 125˚32'23" S point of Ucluth Peninsula, Ucluelet, W coast of Vancouver I). HMS Amphitrite, a 24-gun, 967-tonne corvette, was built of teak at Bombay in 1816 and served on the BC coast from 1851 to 1857, initially under Capt Charles Frederick and then under Capt Richard Burridge.
