Anderson Islands

Anderson Islands (52˚45'00" 129˚22'00" Off NW side of Aristazabal I). Victoria pioneer James Robert Anderson (1841–1930) was born at Fort Nisqually in what is now Washington state. He was the son of HBC explorer and chief trader Alexander Caulfield Anderson (1814–84) and lived at Victoria from 1850 to 1852 to attend school and again from 1858 until his death.
