Arden Islet


Arden Islet (48 ̊20'00" 123 ̊36'00" N side of Becher Bay at S tip of Vancouver I). William Arden (1837–1935) and his wife Hannah (1850–1926) came to Ont from England in the late 1860s and bought property in the Metchosin area about 1890. They were pioneer homesteaders, and their land was known as Alvany Farm.
