Argyle Islet (48 ̊19'00" 123 ̊36'00" E side of Becher Bay, S end of Vancouver I). Thomas Argyle (1840–1919), born at Birmingham, England, joined the Royal Engineers and came to BC with the Columbia detachment, which served in the province 1858–63.
