Ariel Rock (52 ̊48'00" 132 ̊03'00" NE of Shearer Point, Tasu Sd, Moresby I, QCI). Two different sealing schooners named Ariel operated from the W coast in the 1880s. The earlier one, which sailed out of San Francisco, distinguished itself by catching 131 fur seals in a single day in 1881.
