Aristazabal Island


Aristazabal Island (52 ̊38'00" 129 ̊05'00" SW of Princess Royal I). Named by Lt Cdr Jacinto Caamaño, on his 1792 exploration of the N BC coast with the Aránzazu, for Gabriel de Aristazábal (1743–1805), a celebrated Spanish adm he had served under.
